I adopted Deepak as my educational ward

  • by

Through a worker, I received some shocking news amidst my busy schedule. It was about Deepak, a two-and-a-half-year-old boy. When Deepak was just one year old, his mother passed away unexpectedly. The little boy was left without his mother’s love. His father, Vilas Kondalkar, was taking care of him. Vilas was playing both the roles of a mother and a father for his childless son. Before long, another tragedy struck. While returning home from work, Mr. Vilas Kondalkar met with an accident and unfortunately passed away. The boy, who had already lost his mother, was now orphaned.

Considering the circumstances, I was constantly thinking about what I could do for Deepak. Finally, I visited his home in Pahnwal village in Bhor Taluka and understood the entire situation. Currently, Deepak is living with his grandmother. I not only provided emotional support to the family but also took on the responsibility of Deepak’s education. I promised his family that I would be there for Deepak through thick and thin and ensure he receives a quality education so that he can become a responsible citizen. My associates Appasaheb Chondhe and Rohan Bhosle were present on this occasion.

Serving the needy is a duty taught to us by our culture. I felt immense satisfaction in fulfilling this duty. Let us all pray for Deepak’s bright future and that he may be protected from all troubles
